The Philips DimTone 4.9 Watt GU10 LED Lamp is the first lamp to really match the light output of its old inefficient halogen 50 watt GU10 counterpart. The initial cost of the lamp is very quickly recovered on the savings you will be making on your electricity bill by switching to this LED lamp. The expected lifetime of this lamp is twenty times that of the old 50 watt GU10 halogen lamp. Its warm white colour temperature 2700 Kelvin is suitable for all applications. Using Philips DimTone technology this bulb mimics the way a halogen bulb gets warmer (more yellow) as it is dimmed. At sunrise or sunset the sun gives off a red warm glow, this is a lower colour temperature or lower value Kelvin (2700 Kelvin or below is Warm White).
