Installation and Compatibility:

If you are upgrading from the Dimplex XLS range, please note that the Dimplex XLE series requires two separate electrical supplies: one off-peak and one on-peak. To take full advantage of the low-cost off-peak energy, an Economy 7 meter is required. The peak supply should be connected via a switched fused spur with an appropriate fuse rating for the appliance’s flex, while the off-peak supply should be provided through a 20A double-pole switch.

The Dimplex XLS18N, CXLS18, and DUO400N storage heaters have now been discontinued and replaced by the Dimplex XLE100, offering enhanced performance, smarter energy management, and a sleek modern design.
